Mobile coolroom hire in the Northern Rivers typically runs $300 to $450 for a weekend and $400 to $600 for a week, depending on the size of the unit, the season and delivery distance. A standard 10 amp, 240 volt power point, the same as a normal household outlet. You'll need a heavy-duty power cord (not a white household extension lead) plugged directly into the outlet. Power boards and double adaptors can't be used.

Yes. If your car has a tow ball and a 7-pin flat plug you're welcome to collect from our Lindendale depot. If not, we'll deliver and collect the coolroom for you anywhere in the Northern Rivers.

Yes. We deliver to Lismore, Ballina, Casino, Byron Bay, Alstonville and right across the Northern Rivers, position the coolroom where you need it, and collect it when your hire is done.

As a rough guide: a small unit handles drinks and catering for a backyard party of a few dozen, a medium unit suits weddings and events of 80 to 150 guests, and our large tandem-axle unit is built for festivals and functions with a couple of hundred people. Yes. Every unit in our fleet is both refrigerated and freezer capable, so ice cream, frozen stock and ice stay solid even in the middle of summer.

The earlier the better between September and March, when weddings, festivals and the summer heat book the fleet out fast. For winter dates a week or two of notice is usually plenty, and it never hurts to call about short notice hire.

There's no lock-in to long hires: you can hire overnight, for a weekend, a week, or months at a time for ongoing storage.

Every trailer is thoroughly cleaned and serviced between hires. Inside you'll find sealed floors and galvanised wire shelving that keeps food off the ground and airflow moving.

A reasonably level spot the trailer can be towed into and a standard power point within reach of a heavy-duty extension lead. Grass, gravel or concrete are all fine. We'll position the trailer and get it cooling when we deliver.

Internal wire shelving, an external temperature gauge, and fold-down rear steps on the larger units. The coolroom arrives cleaned, serviced and ready to plug in.

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, but talk to us if you need to collect or drop off outside those times and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes. Restaurants, cafes, pubs, butchers and farms use our coolrooms as overflow cold storage during busy periods, renovations or equipment breakdowns. Monthly rates make long-term hire economical.
